Responsive to the Needs of the Region

Enervise has a long tradition of commitment to the community. An Enervise Project Manager Superintendent still remembers the company’s volunteer effort for a Norwood parochial school on a Saturday morning over 30 years ago. “We were told that the boiler was down and the radiators were in bad shape but the school couldn't afford to have it fixed,” says Mike. “When we arrived, the people were wearing their winter coats inside. Every single radiator in the building needed work. But all of us, from installers to the high-end service techs, were glad to help. Some of the maintenance guys from our accounts even pitched in.”

Today, Enervise employees volunteer for many local agencies including The Hoxworth Blood Center, Shriners Hospital, The Refuge Foundation, Kindervelt, “Feed The Town”, St Jude’s Ranch and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Enervise also supports the community through philanthropic sponsorship of events for organizations like The St. Joseph Orphanage, The James Fund, The American Cancer Society, The Cedar Village Foundation, Prevent Blindness Ohio, The OSU Wexner Medical Center, The Darke County Food Bank and the Healthcare Friends' Annual Golf Outing that benefits People Working Cooperatively.

Thanks to an active matching contribution campaign and support of specific United Way agencies, including The Freestore Foodbank, The Thank You Foundation (supporting veterans, service members and their families), The Hope Lodge, Tender Mercies and ProKids, Enervise was honored among the 2013 LIVE united 100. As a proud sponsor of the United Way 2013 drive, Enervise ranked 68 out of the top 100 companies in the region. The LIVE UNITED 100 constitutes United Way’s highest per capita giving companies with 10 to 500 employees and a minimum combined giving of $10,000. Enervise joins other business leaders in the United Way’s goal to “make our whole region more vibrant and successful.”
